Divine Mercy Sunday

Today is such a great day, one post couldn't contain it all.  On this Sunday of Divine Mercy, we are reminded of the goodness of our God.  We, the church, have been gifted with 2 new saints this day:  Saint John XXIII and Saint John Paul II.  What a beautiful opportunity to celebrate God's love, mercy, and Easter joy!

We are called to carry this faith throughout or lives, and to make it a part of our daily living.  Today that seems like an easy task, yet we are especially called to be faithful during the challenges and valleys of our life.  Lest we fear, we must recall that we have tools to help us on our journey; the Divine Mercy of Jesus and the myriad of saints who have gone before us.  We are not meant to journey alone, and we are encouraged to use our resources.

Today is a day of great blessing and joy.  May we keep this joy alive, each and every day.

Prayer - Lord, words are not sufficient to express our great love for You.  Thank you for the gift of the saints, and help us to follow in their example.  May we always run to Your Divine Mercy.
